We’re Building Something Strong in Area E

Hi everyone,

First, thank you for signing up and showing your support. Now I need to start turning that support into a strong campaign team.

Voting day is October 17th, and we only have a few weeks to build momentum, so I’m putting teams together in Sahtlam, Glenora and Cowichan Station right now.

I need people who can help with door knocking, events, signs, organizing volunteers, talking to neighbours and helping get the word out.

I’m also looking for a few strong team leaders in each community who can help organize local volunteers, coordinate activities and keep things moving.

You don’t need political experience. I’m looking for good, reliable people who care about our community and want to help.

If you’re willing to be part of the team, please reply to this email and let me know:

1. Are you in Sahtlam, Glenora or Cowichan Station?

2. Would you like to help as a team member, or are you interested in being a team leader?

3. What are you most comfortable helping with?

I could also really use your help, we’re Building Something Strong in Area E. If you know a few people in your community who have already shown an interest in helping, putting up a road sign or getting involved, please pass this email along or connect them with me.

If every supporter can help me connect with even a few more people, we can build a strong team very quickly.

We also have The Frosting on the Cake coming up at the Cowichan Station Hub on September 5th from 2:30 to 6:30 PM.

There will be live music, food, face painting for the kids and dessert tables. It should be a great afternoon and a chance for everyone to get together. I’ll also need some helping hands before, during and after the event, so if you can help with that, please let me know in your reply.

Even if you only have a few hours to give, it makes a difference.

October 17th will come quickly, so I want to get these teams organized now and get people out in the community.

Thank you for standing with me and for being willing to help. I really appreciate it.
